Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
This qualification develops the learner’s knowledge, understanding and skills in delivering first aid in the workplace and will support a role in the workplace.
This qualification meets the requirements for First Aid at Work as outlined in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.

How to assess an incident

Recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness

First aid skills in CPR and use of an AED

Assisting a casualty who is suffering from major injury and illness such as chest injuries, spinal injuries and anaphylaxis
Assessment
This qualification is assessed by practical assessments and multiple-choice examinations.
Entry Requirements

learners must be aged 14 and over.

learners must have sufficient reading, writing, speaking and listening language skills before being put forward for training and assessment.
